[UIC ALERT] A city water main break on the west side of campus is affecting Single Student Residence (809 S. Damen Ave.). There may be no domestic hot/cold water for handwashing, restrooms or drinking fountains in Single Student Residence for several hours while repairs are being made. Repairs may also impact Benjamin Goldberg Research Center (1940 W. Taylor St.) and the College of Nursing (845 S. Damen Ave.). Heating is not affected and buildings remain open. Updates to follow.
